This past week I went to a funeral of Mark’s cousin…a man who was only sixty years old.

Two days prior to his death, he and his son had been out enjoying lunch with one another.

No Signs.      No warnings.      A sudden heart attack.

Gone

After my mother died in 1994, I swore I’d never go to another funeral. But that was a lie and I seem to go to many…too many as a matter of fact.

And while I know we go to funerals to mourn the loss, as well as celebrate the life of the deceased, I also believe the universe gives us funerals as a splash of cold water in our faces to remind us to look within and ask…

Are you living the life you really want to live…because life is fragile and way too short. No promises for tomorrow—so you better get with it!

So I ask you…are you living the life you want or are you still waiting for someone to give you permission to step out and follow your passion?

You don’t need permission.

Do your thing.

Be You.

Do You.

Life is too short not too.
